Adult Education Programs

Becoming a Catholic Christian - RCIA (The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults)
Meetings are held on Sunday mornings for the purpose of inquiry into the Catholic faith, for prayer and sharing of faith, and for the preparation of adults for the reception of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist. The process is designed for adults who are: - non-baptized;
- baptized in another Christian tradition;
- baptized Catholic but not fully initiated by the reception of Confirmation and Eucharist.

Adult Sacrament Program for Baptized Catholics
Any baptized Catholic who have received the sacraments of Eucharist, reconcilation and/or confirmation are invited to participate in a six week program to prepare them for the sacracment(s) to be celebrated on Pentecost Sunday. Small Christian Communities
Small groups of adults meet to pray, to reflect on Sunday scriptures, and to share faith and life experiences. Groups determine their own meeting schedule. Some meet monthly, some bi-monthly, some weekly during Lent. All groups reflect on the Scripture readings for the following Sunday, and include prayer and action. Parish Lending Library
A collection of books, audio tapes and videos for adults and for children on topics related to faith, spirituality, life issues, etc., is available for borrowing. The Library is located in the Reconciliation Room off the lobby of the church and is opened every Sunday before and after Mass. Would you like to donate a spiritual book or two?
