Pastoral Council Questionnaire

The following questions are offered as a means for you to consider various aspects of parish life. Please do not feel constrained by them. Feel free to inform us about any question or idea you might have regarding our parish, even if it doesn’t fit within any of these questions.

  1. Are there any programs, services or ministries that St. Rose should consider adding?

  2. In what ways could St. Rose reach out to its youth and involve them more fully in the life of our parish?

  3. We notice that many of our parish events attract more of our senior parishioners than those with pre-school or school-aged children. How might we better attract parishioners with pre-school or school-aged children?

  4. We are in a great period of stress for the Catholic Church and its people. In light of recent history, can you suggest ways of restoring confidence in our clergy and showing our young adults that a life devoted to the faithful service of God’s people is a blessed and worthy calling?

  5. Do you see an improvement in the information you receive from the parish? Are there additional avenues of communication that we should consider? Would you participate in a parish listening session?

  6. Can you suggest ways of reaching out to the many parishioners who do not attend Sunday Mass regularly to more effectively open our doors and encourage regular participation as a way of strengthening the prayer of our parish community?

  7. Are there any other issues, topics, programs or ideas you would like to suggest or comment on?

You may print off and return this questionnaire to the Rectory or place it in the suggestion box located in the Church or send it to us by mail or simply submit your responses by clicking on SUBMIT below. Thank you so much for taking your time to share your thoughts and making the work of the Pastoral Council more fruitful and more responsive to and reflective of your ideas and opinions.
