50th Anniversary Celebration

Welcome

Dear Friends of St. Rose of Lima Parish Family,

Please know that you are most welcome at St. Rose. We have a very large but a very active and caring parish. Come worship with us the God who loves all of us St. Rose of Lima Parishunconditionally. Come and share the journey of life with us. Jesus walks with us as he walked with the two disciples on the road to Emmaus (Luke 24:13-35). Come and recognize Christ in the "breaking of the bread" and in each other.

Please let us know ways in which we might serve you better. We have ministries to answer a great number of basic needs which our people experience. God takes care of us and we try to take care of each other as well. We have groups of many different kinds to help us to break out of isolation; e.g., RENEW 2000 small groups, Moms and Tots, bereavement groups, an adoptive parents group. We have ministers who visit homebound, the hospitalized, those in need; others do financial counseling or help find employment. We have extraordinary ministers of the Eucharist, lectors, ushers, ministers of hospitality, and a wonderful choir. We have the Sew 'N Sews, the faithful ministers at the Bargain Box, and many, many more. We have adult education and education to assist children.

Come and share your special giftedness for the benefit of others as well.

On behalf of the priests, deacons, and the outstanding men and women of our Pastoral Team, on behalf of the dedicated staff of St. Rose, and on behalf of all our wonderful parishioners, I once again say, "Welcome!"

Peace!

Rev. Msgr. Daniel J. Hurley
Pastor
