The Stewardship Committee

If you are interested in joining the Stewardship Committee, please review the following responsibilities. If you have any questions, please contact the rectory.

Responsibilities include:

• Commit to prayer, the spiritual life and have an interest in the growth of the parish.
• Be involved in the parish, giving their your time, talent and financial resources.
• Willing to learn more about the theology of stewardship and how it relates to parish life.
• Comfortable talking about stewardship and encouraging others to participate in parish activities.

Attend monthly meetings. Prepare for meetings by reading materials and bringing input from your own perspective and those you know.

• Share your own insights and be willing to listen to the insights of others in decision making for the committee.

• Collaborate in promoting stewardship and creatively incorporating it in all aspects of parish life.

• Support activities sponsored by the Stewardship Committee such as the Welcome Gatherings and Time and Talent Festival.(Gift Discovery Workshops).

• Assist in the follow-up activities of suggestions and ideas.

• Be aware of the needs of parishioners and make suggestions to meet those needs.

• Make an annual commitment. (It is hoped that people would stay for at least two years.)
