WAYS TO GIVE TO ST. ROSE OF LIMA PARISH Due to the faithfulness and sacrifice you have shown by your contributions to St. Rose of Lima Parish, we have been able to maintain the vital ministries which make St. Rose a vital center of Catholic Spirituality, both in prayer and in ministering to those in need. Time and Talent... Do you have a special gift or talent that can benefit our Parish? Don't bury your talent! Help us to create a parish that fosters an attitude of care and concern for all. Please visit our Ministries section of the website for some ideas... Our Sunday Collections... Active registered parishioners receive weekly envelopes, which are our primary source of income. In addition, we have partnered with NetCharge, an online giving program, to give you more flexibility and payment options in the management of your donations. Our Gifts to God... We invite all the young people of our parish to be Christian stewards of their God-given gifts of time and talent. The objective of these envelopes is not a financial one, but an educational one as we prepare our children for a life of responsible stewardship. Supermarket Gift Cards... Our No-Cost-To-You fundraiser is available the first weekend of every month. St. Rose Parish will receive a 5% rebate for every gift card purchased. These Gift Cards can be purchased in amounts of $25, $50, and $100, the amount to be determined by you. We accept cash or checks made payable to St. Rose of Lima Church. Sr. Loyola Curtain Outreach Scholarship Award... Awarded to a deserving Massapequa High School Wing Student, the goal is to eliminate a small burden from a parent(s) and encourage a young person to live out their dedication to community service, knowing that they are supported by a community of people who believe in them. The Tree of Life is beautifully displayed and is located in the back of the Church; it is the perfect place to remember that important time or special someone in your life. The cost of a leaf is $2000, and monthly payment plans are available. Remembering Loved Ones... A monetary donation, ranging from $20 to $100 to cover the cost of various items used at our Liturgies for a period of one week, is usually made in memory of a loved one, or to celebrate a special occasion. An acknowledgement of your offering appears in the bulletin, and an attractive certificate is prepared for you to give as a keepsake. Memorials can also be made as one-time donations for specific Liturgical items, or to our Outreach Office.
