Welcome Committee

Members of the Welcome Committee try to make new parishioners feel part of the St. Rose Family.

After a new parishioner registers, the Welcome Committee sends them a ‘Welcome Packet’ which includes a letter from Fr. Dan, a reflection on stewardship and copies of the most recent Church Bulletin, “Our Parish” newsletter and Living Faith booklet. Members of the Welcome Committee call each newly registered parishioner to personally welcome them to St. Rose and answer any questions they may have.

Welcome Gatherings for New Parishioners

The Welcome Committee hosts two ‘Welcome Gatherings for New Parishioners’ each year. These gatherings take place after Sunday Mass, typically in October and April. The gatherings provide an opportunity for new parishioners to meet Fr. Dan, some of the Pastoral Team, the Welcome Committee and representatives from other ministries at St. Rose. Coffee, cake and informal conversation help make our new members feel right at home.
